Over our history, every few years (more details below/later) it seems the stars align to present the perfect setting for ALTheadline to catch on. We believe now and reintroducing on Independence Day, July 4, 2024 is THE time to not just catch on, but make an impact.
In the last week a universal cacophony blasted galaxy wide of, "We told you so." Everyone saw for themselves. Yes there were FAKE NEWS stories and everyone knows if people based their personal, or business life decisions and perhaps more importantly, election decisions on those FAKE NEWS stories that a vast majority of people did things and voted differently than they would have if those FAKE NEWS stories were universally outed at the time. The June 27th, 2024 Presidential Debate revealed to the many millions who watched, President Joe Biden's current state of mind - what some have routinely dismissed and what others have been sounding the alarm about - was on full display for all to see, along with former President Trump's current state of mind.
Depending on your point of view, you may have different conclusions. Here is an example objective headline and how different headline interpretations can affect what that headline says to you. After all, if the headline is subjective and biased the content of the article probably will be too:
POLITICO - Dems freak out over Biden’s debate performance: ‘Biden is toast’
ALTheadline: CNN hosted an unusually early election season Presidential debate.
Right POV - Told you so.
Left POV - He had a cold (and extended jet lag)
Independent POV - RFK Jr. had more right to be at that debate than either other candidates.
Libertarian POV - I'm still voting Libertarian
No Party Preference POV - I don't really follow politics. What were they debating?
This is what ALTheadline brings - making headlines match the story from different points of view.
Our plans are ambitious. We welcome headline interpreters to join ALTheadline with their skills of either providing their POV or their ability to translate another POV.
